[Exhibition] GRAY NAVY BLACK (Oct 10-Nov 23 2018)
Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong presents the first Korean Young
Artist Series “GRAY NAVY BLACK” in 2018 Festive Korea. Korea-based rising art
critic and curator, LEE Yang Heon introduces three contemporary painters in
Korea, CHANG Dahae, CHUNG Heemin, and PARK Junghae, approaching their work with
traditional art history methodologies. The curator proposed each color-gray,
navy and black-to three Korean critics as a theme of each artist and requested
critiques. This reveals the breaking point of contemporary painting with
traditional methodologies of art.
The opening cocktail reception will be held on 10th October 6-8 pm in
presence of the three artists, curator and one critic from Korea. Don't miss
the chance to meet them at the opening reception!
