주홍콩한국문화원은 2026년 3월 24일부터 5월 30일까지 한국 현대미술 그룹전 《From Korea to Hong Kong: Expanding Horizons》를 개최한다. 이번 전시는 ‘아트바젤 홍콩 2026’에 참여하는 한국 주요 갤러리 11곳과 협력하여, 다양한 세대와 장르의 작가 11인의 작품을 선보인다. 참여 작가는 ▲이만나(선화랑) ▲마이클 주(국제갤러리) ▲김재용(학고재갤러리) ▲원성원(아라리오갤러리) ▲강강훈(조현갤러리) ▲신경철(리안갤러리) ▲최수진(G갤러리) ▲이재석(갤러리바톤) ▲이유진(우손갤러리) ▲김무영(N/A) ▲이종환(실린더)이다. 문화원은 매년 한국 현대미술의 폭넓은 스펙트럼을 홍콩 관람객에게 소개해 왔으며, 특히 작년부터 아트바젤 홍콩 및 홍콩 아트먼스(Art Month)에 맞춰 From Korea to Hong Kong 시리즈를 새롭게 기획했다. 첫 해에는 6개 갤러리와 협약을 맺고 아트바젤에서 소개된 작품을 문화원 전시로 이어가는 방식으로 큰 의미를 남겼다. 올해는 참여 갤러리가 11곳으로 확대되고, 신진부터 중견까지 폭넓은 작가층이 함께해 한국 현대미술의 지형도를 더욱 넓게 보여준다. 이번 전시는 각 갤러리가 직접 선정한 작가들의 작품을 한 공간에 모아 전시하는 데 의의가 있다. 문화원은 작가별 개성을 살리면서도 관람객이 전체를 하나의 전시 경험으로 받아들이도록 공간을 구성했으며, 단순히 작품을 옮겨오는 것이 아니라 갤러리들이 아트바젤에서 제시된 메시지와 미학적 방향성을 문화원 공간에서 재구성했다. 3월 24일에 진행된 개막식에는 10명의 전시 참여 작가가 방문하였으며, 60여명이 넘는 한국과 홍콩의 미술인 및 일반 관람객들이 참석하여 교류의 장이 마련되었다.

주홍콩한국문화원은 2026년 2월 4일(수)부터 3월 19일(목)까지 문화원 전시실에서 한국 현대  추상미술 기획전 《간극의 공명(Echoes in Between: Four Voices in Korean Abstraction)》을 개최한다.  이번 전시는 홍콩과 한국에 주재하는 솔루나 파인아트 갤러리와 협력하여 기획되었으며, 한국 추상미술을  대표하는 네 명의 작가—하태임, 장승택, 김영헌, 박윤경—의 작품을 선보인다. 이번 전시는 각기 다른 시각 언어를 구사하는 네 작가의 작업을 통해 한국 추상미술의 다층적이고  섬세한 세계를 홍콩 관람객들에게 소개하고자 한다. 네 작가는 색채, 층위, 제스처, 공간에 대한  개별적 접근을 보여주면서도, 물질과 비물질, 존재와 부재 사이의 미묘한 간극에서 의미가 생성되는  과정을 공동으로 탐구한다. 하태임은 「Un Passage」 시리즈에서 유려한 색채의 흐름을 통해 심리적 울림과 인간적  연결을 제안한다. 장승택은 반투명한 색채의 층위를 중첩해 시간과 존재를 기록하는 「Layered Painting」  시리즈를 선보인다.  김영헌은 한국 전통 기법인 혁필을 디지털 시대의 감각과 결합한 「Electronic Nostalgia」  시리즈를 통해 아날로그와 디지털 사이의 진동과 감정을 시각화한다.  박윤경은 반투명한 실크와 쉬폰 위에 겹겹의 색채와 문자를 쌓아 올려, 공간과 이미지의 경계를  허물고 소통과 감정, 인간적 연결의 보편적 가치를 탐구한다. 2월 4일 개막식에는 솔루나 파인 아트 관계자 및 50여명의 홍콩 문화예술계 인사들, 콜렉터 및  일반 관람객들이 참석하여 교류의 장을 가졌다.

주홍콩한국문화원은 2025년 12월 10일부터 2026년 1월 31일까지 문화원 전시실에서 한국 현대미술 기획전 《 Unfolding Silence (2025 한국작가전)》를 개최한다. 이번 전시는 화이트스톤, 갤러리 엑시트, 솔루나, 스트롤 갤러리 등 홍콩에서 한국 작가의 작품을 소개하는 대표적인 갤러리와 함께 기획되었으며, 한국 추상미술 작가 권순익, 배상순, 우종택, 정윤경, 김덕한, 이채 등 총 6인의 작품을 선보인다. 이번 전시는 홍콩 주재 갤러리에서 활발히 활동하는 한국 작가들을 문화원 공간으로 초청하여, 한국 현대 추상미술의 깊이와 다양성을 홍콩 관람객들에게 소개하고자 한다. 관람객들은 전시 작품을 통해 내적 사유와 감각적 경험을 시각화하는 ‘침묵의 확장(Unfolding Silence)’을 경험한다. 권순익은 흙과 물감을 반복적으로 쌓아 올리고 흑연으로 틈을 메우는 독창적인 기법을 통해 치유와 기억의 서사를 담아내며, 인내와 시간의 축적 속에서 작품을 완성한다. 배상순은 검은 벨벳 위에 물감을 겹겹이 올려 생명력과 사고의 흐름을 탐구하는 「Morphing Void」 시리즈를 선보이며, 혼돈과 창조 사이의 긴장을 표현한다. 우종택은 먹과 목탄, 백토 등을 활용한 강렬한 제스처로 자연과 우주의 본질을 묻는 명상적 회화를 제작한다. 정윤경은 동아시아 수묵 전통과 서구 추상 표현주의를 결합해 여백과 구조가 어우러진 독창적 화면을 구현한다. 김덕한은 나무 패널과 금속 위에 옻칠 물감을 겹겹이 쌓아 기억과 감정을 담은 색채를 만들어낸다. 이채는 꽃과 나무의 피고 지는 자연의 순환을 상징적·추상적으로 표현해 생명의 지속과 깨달음을 탐구한다. 12월 10일 전시 개막식에는 작가와 갤러리 관계자들이 참석해 관람객들과 교류할 수 있는 자리가 마련되었다.
