Korean Cultural Center invited CHOI Lucia, a Korean calligraphy artist who is active as a Korean calligraphy expert to hold Hangeul calligraphy postcard giveaway event, workshop and calligraphy performance to celebrate the Hangeul Day this year.

Online calligraphy workshop was held on 9.22 (Fri) and 9.28 (Thurs). A total of 52 people participated the workshop.

Hangul Day Special Event was held in the Korean Cultural Center on 10.7(Sat). CHOI Lucia wrote visitor's Korean names on postcard with calligraphy and gave them as gift. Calligraphy performance was also held to commemorate the last day of the 'CONNECT-Traveling HK MTR with Hangeul' exhibition.

Offline Korean calligraphy workshop was held at HKU Space Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College on 10.10(Tues). A total of 23 students participated in the workshop. CHOI Lucia introduced Hangul calligraphy to the students and taught students tips to write Hangeul. At the end, students wrote down their favorite Korean words such as love, happiness, flower on a postcard and took it back home as a souvenir.
