BoSsam is usually served as food accompanying alcoholic drinks, and it usually consists of pork that is boiled with spices. It is served thinly sliced and eaten wrapped in lettuce and kimchi. The Korean of BoSsam is보쌈. 보refers to a square cloth used to wrap things, while " 쌈" refers to Korean traditional dishes that is wrapped with vegetables. “The Taste of Korean Food” in November will teach you how to make BoSsam and fresh Kimchi. KCCHK, along with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Korean Food Promotion Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will hold the ‘K-Food MasterChef in Hong Kong 2024’K-Food Cooking Contest on November 10 at the Towngas Cooking Centre. This year's contest, titled "Jang"(Korean paste), requires contestants to use at least one of the three main Jang: Gochujang (chili paste), Doenjang (soybean paste) and Ganjang(soy sauce), to create a dish. Besides the contestants, in order to help everyone better understand the taste and use of the Korean ‘Jang’, KCCHK has prepared a special cooking class "Becoming K-Food MasterChef" to teach you how to make good use of the Korea paste!
