[K-Sports] The 106th International Taekwondo Master Course in Hong Kong
During the four days from March 30th to April 2nd, the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong was honored to assist the KUKKIWON World Taekwondo Academy (WTA) in organizing "The 106th International Taekwondo Master Course" in Hong Kong, providing comprehensive and high-level taekwondo training for local and international masters holding black belt qualifications from the KUKKIWON.
This was the first time that the WTA dispatched accredited professors to Hong Kong to conduct training, personally providing 40 hours of professional training for over 100 students, with the aim of improving the accuracy of trainee's taekwondo movements.

The course was divided into theory classes and practical classes. In the theory classes, standard taekwondo terminology, examination evaluation criteria, and other content were taught.
The practical classes included Poomsae (품새), self-defense (호신술) techniques, and etc. After completing the course and participating in the examination, the students received certificates of completion and souvenirs personally presented by the professors from the WTA.

In addition to participants from Hong Kong, masters from different regions such as Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Canada, Brazil, the Philippines, and Indonesia came to Hong Kong to participate in this training, allowing masters from around the world to exchange skills from each other.

The successful implementation of this training was made possible by the support and participation of taekwondo practitioners from various regions. The Cultural Institute will continue to organize various experiential activities in the future, actively promoting Korean martial arts and facilitating cultural exchange between Korea and Hong Kong.
