[Others] KCON HONG KONG 2024 Korean Culture Experience Booth
The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong (Director Choi Jaewon, hereinafter referred to as KCCHK) participated in the 'KCON HONG KONG 2024' and operated the Korean culture experience booth at the Asia World-Expo for two consecutive days from March 30 to 31.
KCON was held in Hong Kong for the first time since its hosting in 2012 and succeeded in entering the Greater China market. The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong, which acts as a representative organization that promotes Korean culture, operated the Korean culture experience booth during the festival, with the aim of promoting Korean culture intensively to K-pop fans from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and all over the world.

▲ Yutnori Experience
In order to let K-pop fans at the venue feel the charm of Korean traditional culture, KCCHK prepared Korean traditional games (Yutnori and Ddakji) and Hanbok experience zone. Visitors at the booth are very happy to be able to play the games that they have only seen in Korean TV programs.
▲ 'Write your name in Hangul' Corner
In addition, in order to raise visitors' interest in Hangul, a 'Write your name in Hangul' corner was also prepared to introduce visitors to their names in Hangul and pronunciations in Korean.
Moreover, since KCON is a K-pop-based festival, KCCHK has also prepared an album photocards decoration corner, so that fans can enjoy K-pop culture at the booth. The corner gained great popularity. Many of the visitors are excited to get their photocard decorated beautifully for the concert.
KCON HONG KONG 2024 shows the possibility of holding large-scale events in Hong Kong. KCCHK will actively seek ways to draw support from the Hong Kong government for the other similar kinds of large-scale events.
