Please read the Class Schedule (Appendix 1) and Class Description (Appendix 2) carefully before application.

Important Notices

1) This semester commences on March 8. Class schedule will be sent to successfully registered students later.

2) Application is accepted from now on to FEB 20 (HKT 23:59).

3) Attendees will be notified via email. Sorry for unable to notify all applicants.

4) Applicant can register up to 2 classes (1 Sejong Korean classes and 1 conversation/ business class). However, KCCHK cannot guarantee applicant will be admitted into both courses.

5) Students cannot change their class unless they get teacher’s approval.

6) Only accept applicants aged 18 years or above on or before MAR 8, 2022.

7) Students who cannot maintain the attendance with 70% or above, will not have priority to register KCCHK's Korean language classes in the future.

8) As the courses will be conducted online via Zoom, students should ensure they have the electronic devices that can join virtual meetings.

9) Courses are conducted in Korean. English may be used for introductory and elementary courses.

10) Attendees of <Sejong Korean 1> will be selected by random draw. Applicants of all other remaining courses, who upload proof will be admitted first, remaining seats will be filled by applicants who are selected to attend level test by first-come first-served basis, and also meet the qualifications in the test.

11) Students should open their camera during lessons for better interaction with teacher and other students, and follow the class rules.

12) **Please note that for students who chose 60-hours (20weeks) classes, you may not participate in the Summer special semester classes as the schedule will overlap. 

Frequently-asked Questions

1) A: Are the classes free of charge?

Q: Yes, all classes are free of charge.

2) A: What is “proof”?

Q: Certificate issued by King Sejong Institute,KCCHK; valid TOPIK score report; other certificates issued by other institutions（If the certificate is not issued within 2 years, or the teacher does not know the course content, KCCHK will not take it as proof）.

3) A: I have learnt Korean before, can I join the classes offered by KCCHK?

Q: Sure，as long as you can provide proof (refer to Q2) . If you have no proof, or KCCHK does not acknowledge your proof, you may be invited to participate in the level test.

4）A: I have applied for many times, why did I still fail?

Q: Firstly, make sure that you meet the qualification. Please note that KCCHK will admit applicants who provide valid proof first. If too many applicants who provided valid proof applied for the same course, attendees will be selected by random draw.

**Students who cannot maintain the attendance with 70% or above during 2021 Spring semester/ 2022 Winter Semester, will not have priority to register Korean language classes this semester.
