[Other Events] 'The Story of Minhwa' Workshop
On August 4 (Fri), Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong held a 'The Story of Minhwa' workshop at School of Continuing and Professional Studies, CUHK. KCCHK held the workshop in aims of raising awareness and interest of the students from CUSCS Korean Programme (https://www.scs.cuhk.edu.hk/en/part-time/korean) in Korean culture and art through the introduction of Korean folk painting - "Minhwa" by intructor Ms Lee Young-ae, a reporter from <Art Minhwa>.
Ms Lee first compared and explained Minhwa by type in the lecture part, and explained the Korean culture and meaning reflected. After the lecture, a Minhwa experience session was held, and participants drew their own Gungmorando under the guidance of Minhwa artists.
