[Exhibition] KITSCH & POP: Korean Pop Art Now

The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong and the Seoul Museum of Art present KITSCH & POP: Korean Pop Art Now, now extended through November 29, 2025.

This timely exhibition re-examines Korean Pop Art within the contemporary art landscape, highlighting its significance amid the global spread of K-pop and K-culture. Moving beyond the worldwide appeal of Korean music, fashion, film, and cuisine, the exhibition seeks to elevate Korean visual arts on the international stage.

Supported by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), this exhibition is part of the 2025 “Touring K-Arts” initiative.

【展覽】《媚俗與波普：韓式波普藝術的現狀》

駐香港韓國文化院與首爾市立美術館聯合呈獻《媚俗與波普：韓式波普藝術的現狀》，展期延至2025年11月29日。

本展立足當代藝術視野，重新審視韓國波普藝術的文化意涵，透過K-pop與韓流文化的全球擴張，進一步推動韓國視覺藝術在國際舞台的認知度。

展覽由韓國文化體育觀光部與韓國國際文化交流振興院（KOFICE）支持，屬「2025年韓國藝術巡迴專案」的重要組成部分。

Galaxy Macau presents “Galaxy Music Gala: Sumi Jo – Mad For Love,” an evening themed around love featuring classic arias and duets by Donizetti, Vivaldi, Strauss, Tosti, Bellini, and more.  

Grammy-winning soprano Sumi Jo, acclaimed for her crystalline voice and flawless technique, makes her Macau debut. She is joined by renowned baritone Wang Yun-Peng, a laureate of the Operalia Competition and leading figure on the world’s opera stage.

KCCHK New Project - Experience Traditional Korean Games!

Starting today, everyone can visit the 6th floor of KCCHK to experience various traditional Korean games including "ddakji-chigi, gonggi-nori, and Yut-nori! Upload your experience on social media, tag @kcchongkong, and include the #KCCHK_KGAME hashtag to redeem a set of traditional Korean games. Daily slots are limited, available while supplies last! Hurry to KCCHK to experience the most popular Korean games.

📚 Great news! Library room at KCCHK reopens finally! We have curated works from several renowned contemporary Korean authors, including but not limited to Han Kang, Kim Youngha, Ra Taejoo, Eun Heekyung, Pyun Hyeyoung, Noh Heekyung, Jeong Jia, Gong Jiyoung, Cho Namjoo, and Kim Hoyeon, along with their representative works available in Korean, Chinese and English translations.

KCCHK will continue to promote Korean literature to Hong Kong readers. If you have any other author or Korean literary work recommendations, feel free to leave a comment and share with us!
