Kukje Gallery將舉辦崔郁卿個展。崔郁卿雖相對地未獲太多國際關注，但作為首位赴美的韓國女性藝術家，她的作品受抽象表現主義影響，70年代當時她的畫風在韓國可謂獨樹一幟。

Wook-kyung CHOI is relatively unknown yet a crucial female artist in history of Korean modern art. CHOI was an artist with rare intelligence in the Korean art scene of the 1970s. She achieved her own style in America, but her works were unappreciated in the Korean art scene where the Abstract Expressionism was unfamiliar genre.
