Recruitment Notice for Administrative Staff

Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong is looking forward to welcoming a dedicated and energetic individual to join us.

 

 

1. Position & Summary of Duties

- Networking with the local Korean Wave (Hallyu) communities and developing collaboration projects;

- Organizing K-pop related events;

- Marketing and Promotion of events organized by Korean Cultural Center;

- Translating and interpreting (Korean, Chinese, English);

※ According to the internal conditions, tasks may be changed or added.

 



2. Job Requirements

Nationality:

- Hong Kong Citizen

 

Language:

- Fluency in Korean, both written and oral is preferred;

- Fluency in English, both written and oral;

- Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), both written and oral

 

Knowledge:

- Knowledge of Culture & Public Relations, Korean culture and events organization

 

Experiences (preference):

- 1 years+ experience working within a Public Relations, Marketing and/or Corporate Communications in Hong Kong;

- Experience working with image and video editing software(Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator);

- Experience using social media tools for promotion;

- Ability to work well with others as part of a team (working experience with Korean people or people with diverse backgrounds is preferred);

- Flexibility to take on other duties not necessarily listed in the job spec if needed

 



3. Working Condition:

- starting from July 2021

- working 5 days a week from 09:00 to 18:00

- Salary: Determined by the internal regulations

※ Paid three-month probationary period required

5. Screening process for the recruitment

- First stage: Documents review

- Second stage: Recruitment interview (Face to face)

▶ Applicants who have passed each stage will be notified individually

▶ Those who pass the 1st stage should take the translation test (Korean, Cantonese)

 



6. The others

- If the information given by the applicant is proved false at any stage including after signing the contract, or if the applicant fails to obtain the satisfactory security clearance, the KCC has the right to revoke the employment contract at any time.

- If there is no suitable applicant, the recruitment process will be extended, re-announced, or stopped.
