The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong presents the upcoming exhibition ‘Concrete+Jungle’, featuring the major artworks of the four artists, KyungJin JEONG(鄭敬陳), Ken CHUNG(鍾家俊), Mindy LUI(雷恩兒), Yiseul JUNG(정이슬), selected through Open Call 2023.

These artists capture the everyday moments they witnessed through the artist's gaze, and expressed with the artist's own medium including painting, installation, photographs, video and more. Artists observe trivia and mundane objects and items surrounding them – inside residential environment, urban landscape. They have a keen insight into their daily space, looking at the ordinary without passing by.

There will be an opening reception on 17 March, 6-8 pm with the presence of all the artists. It is open to the public so Korean Cultural Center kindly invites you to visit on this day and have a conversation with the artists. Canapes and drinks will be served.
