駐香港韓國文化院將於10月至11月舉辦一系列韓國文化講座,旨在增進大眾對韓國文化的認識與理解。此次講座將邀請來自韓國和香港的講者,涵蓋韓國哲學、韓語、韓國電影、美食、文化遺、藝術和K-Pop等多個韓國文化相關領域。參加者將有機會與講者面對面交流和討論,深入探索韓國文化的不同面貌和特色。對韓國文化有興趣的人士切勿錯過!

Korean Wave and K-Philosophy

The Korean Wave, which began in the late 1990s, has evolved into a global phenomenon over the past 30 years. Scholars are now delving deeper into K-Philosophy, exploring the reasons behind Korean Wave’s enduring popularity. This lecture will discuss how "philosophy," representing universal ideas, and "Korea," embodying specific cultural insights, can merge to enrich both fields. By posing essential questions in innovative ways, K-Philosophy fosters open discussions about wisdom and contributes to the growth of Korean studies as a significant global discipline.

The Origins of the South Korean Film Renaissance

(conducted in English)

When Park Chan-wook’s debut film, The Moon Is... the Sun's Dream, was released in 1992, South Korean cinema was at a low point, overshadowed by Hollywood. However, by 2004, South Korea became the first country to reclaim its domestic market, marking a remarkable turnaround. This talk will examine the evolution of South Korean film culture during this period, highlighting the rise of media conglomerates, the establishment of the Busan International Film Festival, and advancements in film education. Additionally, it will address the current shift of South Korean cinema to Netflix and other OTT platforms.

韓食全球化:以黑白大廚了解廿一世紀的韓食

近年來,韓國飲食文化潮流與熱門綜藝及韓劇密切相關,特別是《黑白大廚》和新劇《暴君的廚師》引發的討論。本講座將以韓國熱門、與韓食主題有關的綜藝節目、韓劇作為切入點,探討韓食如何在21世紀以多元方式「起飛」成為跨文化交流的重要載體。通過分析相關節目和劇集的特點,我們將解構傳統與現代、日常與精緻飲食在全球語境中的重構,以及透過一系列有趣的飲食小故事和一些韓食流行現象,深入韓國料理的人文脈絡,細看韓食如何從宮廷、街頭,一躍於國際餐桌與影視作品之中軟實力的一環。

從韓國非物質文化遺產看韓國文化:跨世代傳承與當代意義

截至20258月為止,韓國共計保有17個世界遺產(15個文化遺產及2個自然遺產)23個世界無形遺產(人類非物質文化遺產)20個世界記憶遺產,內容遍及文化、音樂、舞蹈、儀式、風俗習慣等眾多領域。本講座將透過精選代表性的韓國 UNESCO 非物質文化遺產,探討韓國文化如何於歷史與社會變遷中持續傳承與重塑,同時在文化旅遊觀光擔當非常重要的角色。

Unveiling Minhwa: The Cultural Heritage of Joseon in K-Dramas and Films

This lecture will explore the historical and cultural significance of Minhwa, Korean folk paintings from the Joseon era, through the lens of popular historical dramas and films. Participants will gain insights into the daily life and values of the Joseon period, while also examining how Minhwa is represented in modern society and the influence of traditional art on contemporary culture.

The Transhumanist Turn in AI K-pop Idols

(conducted in English)

The rise of artificial intelligence has transformed various industries, including entertainment, where K-pop idols are no longer solely human performers. This lecture explores the transhumanist turn in AI K-pop idols, examining how advancements in technology enable the creation of virtual idols that challenge traditional notions of identity, artistry, and fandom.

Dr. Park Sojeong

  • Professor of Korean Philosophy at Sungkyunkwan University and serves as the director of Institute of Korean Philosophy & Culture (IKPC)

  • She has taught Chinese philosophy and cross-cultural philosophy in Singapore and Hong Kong, and her current research interests include Korean Philosophy, Comparative Philosophy, and the Philosophy of Music

  • 為香港大學專業進修學院人文與法律學院的學院助理講師

  • 富韓語-廣東話傳譯及翻譯經驗,曾協助多個韓國電視節目、YouTube網絡節目、廣告拍攝、報章採訪的傳譯及翻譯工作,其中包括韓國KBS電視台、朝鮮日報等機構

Dr. Lee Sangjoon

  • Associate Professor of Film Studies at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong

  • Author of Cinema and the Cultural Cold War: US Diplomacy and the Origins of the Asian Cinema Network (2020), 電影與文化冷戰 : 美國外交與亞洲電影網絡的起源 (2024), and the editor/co-editor of Hallyu 2.0: The Korean Wave in the Age of Social Media (2015), Rediscovering Korean Cinema (2019), The South Korean Film Industry (2024), Routledge Companion to Asian Cinema (2014), and Remapping the Cold War in Asian Cinemas (2024).

  • 釜山國立大學韓國學碩士畢業,擁有逾十年韓國文化產業經驗,涉足文化出版、商務及市場推廣顧問、活動策劃、翻譯與教育培訓等領域

  • 曾於中小學、大學、文化機構及韓國政府單位等主講超過百場韓國文化講座,包括設計大學海外專題考察課程及擔任客席講座講者

  • 現旅居釜山,繼續進行不同韓國文化觀察研習及商務文化項目



Ms. Lee Jaery

  • Teaching Korean language in HKU SPACE

  • Accomplished Minhwa artist winning awards at the 17th Grand Prize Folk Painting Competition and the 12th Daegal Culture Festival Contemporary Folk Painting Competition

  • She is a member of the Folk Painting Association and serves as a representative for K-Artweb, which she specializes in patented art storage and transportation cases

Dr. Park Jinhee

  • Associate Professor of Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries at Lingnan University

  • Media scholar who specialises in Korean cinema and visual culture 

  • Her current research focuses on information and communication technology in South Korean media culture, including social media, mobile technology, augmented reality, and virtual reality
