The Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism is a venue for exploring and suggesting the future of our city as we interact with other cities around the world. Before this event, we are holding various events such as international cooperation & research, contents development, and idea competition this year. 

The Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism 2023 will be held under the theme of “Land Architecture, Land Urbanism: City of mountain ranges, waterways, and wind breezes: drawing of the Seoul’s Next 100 years.” We will suggest the framework of a masterplan as we imagine Seoul to be an environment-friendly, highly dense city connecting tradition, present, and future.

For this, we are holding <The Seoul 100-year Masterplan Exhibition Idea Competition> of the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism 2023 for two months beginning mid-July this year. The theme of the competition is “Seoul 100-year master plan - Green Network connection.”

Through this competition, we will establish a basic master plan for Seoul as an environment-friendly, ideal highly dense city and a long-term foothold for Seoul’s 100 years of city plan. We are waiting for your brilliant creative ideas that will show your love for Seoul.
