[Exhibition] Speculative Visions of a Post-Climate Future

Artists: Yeom Inhwa, Kim Sangdon, Oh Jooyoung, Kohui, Jang Yunyoung, Picture Rhythm Studios, Studio for Narrative Spaces

The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong presents "Speculative Visions of a Post-Climate Future", the first 2026 open call exhibition. The exhibition brings together contemporary media artists and curators from Korea and Hong Kong in a collaborative platform for creative dialogue.

Centered on the theme of a post-climate-change future, the exhibition explores evolving relationships between humans, the environment, and technology through a diverse range of media, including virtual reality, game-based works, and moving-image installations. The project is co-curated in partnership with Studio for Narrative Spaces—an artistic collective formed by practitioners from the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong—and aims to foster sustained artistic exchange and collaboration between the two regions.

駐香港韓國文化院呈獻2026年首個公開徵集展覽「Speculative Visions of a Post-Climate Future 氣候未來式」。本次展覽匯聚來自韓國及香港的當代媒體藝術家及策展人，搭建一個促進創意對話的合作平台。

展覽以後氣候變化時代為核心主題，透過虛擬實境、遊戲式作品及影像裝置等多元媒介，探索人類、環境與科技之間不斷演變的關係。此項目與由香港城市大學創意媒體學院藝術家組成的藝術團體 Studio for Narrative Spaces 聯合策劃，旨在促進兩地之間持續的藝術交流與合作。

《互補：雙眼》Complement: Two eyes

A Visual Game Challenging Video and the Live Body: The closing program Complement: Two eyes is presented by the Seoul choreographic duo Choi x Kang Project on June 17–18 (8:00 PM) at The Turns, East Kowloon Cultural Centre. Centred on the dislocation between video and live performance, the work interrogates how the camera captures and controls the presentation of the subject. It questions the inevitable relationship between live-recorded dance imagery and the reality seen before one’s eyes. As the three-dimensional live body is compressed into two dimensions, the movements and objects falling outside the image will time and again exceed the viewer’s expectations, constantly challenging our imagination of the reality before us.

挑戰影像與現場身體的一場視覺遊戲：閉幕節目《互補：雙眼》（Complement: Two eyes）由首爾編舞組合Choi x Kang Project於6月17至18日（晚上8時）在東九文化中心形館呈獻。作品以錄像與現場表演的錯位為核心，探問鏡頭如何「捕捉」又如何「控制」被拍攝的對象的呈現，提問現場錄製的舞蹈影像與真實眼前所見的事物之間的必然關係，以及當現場三維的身體被壓縮至二維時，落在影像之外的動態和事物將一次又一次地溢出觀者的預期，不斷地挑戰我們對於眼前真實的想像。

韓國二人音樂劇作品演讀 《有真與有真》유진과 유진

[陪伴你，面對十四歲的自己]

新學年開始，中二班上出現兩位同名同姓的李有真。外向開朗的「大有真」認出對方是自己的幼稚園同學，但性格內斂的「小有真」對此事態度出奇地冷漠。隨著兩人各自面對家庭、學業和戀愛的青春煩惱，塵封多時的共同陰影再次浮現。兩人慢慢發現，原來對方才是最能了解自己、最能療癒那個秘密傷口的「有真」。

改編自韓國作家李琴䬁銷量突破30萬、涉及兒童性侵議題的同名小說；二人音樂劇《有真與有真》在韓國自2021年起累積演出超過300場，中文版於2025及2026連續兩年在台灣上演，大獲好評。今年初夏，7A班戲劇組獲韓國製作單位授權，將此賣座作品翻譯及製作成粵語讀劇演出，讓香港觀眾沉浸在結合現場音樂、粵語歌詞及劇本的療癒力量之中。

We have curated works from several renowned contemporary Korean authors, including but not limited to Han Kang, Kim Youngha, Ra Taejoo, Eun Heekyung, Pyun Hyeyoung, Noh Heekyung, Jeong Jia, Gong Jiyoung, Cho Namjoo, and Kim Hoyeon, along with their representative works available in Korean, Chinese and English translations.

KCCHK will continue to promote Korean literature to Hong Kong readers. If you have any other author or Korean literary work recommendations, feel free to leave a comment and share with us!
