《身之所往》展覽 

In Search of Absence

駐香港韓國文化院和安全口畫廊聯合呈獻《身之所往》，展出韓國三位藝術家的近作。他們的作品透過顏色及線條建立與觀者的聯繫，同時凝視自身的狀態和矛盾。展覽將於8月18日至9月18日間開放予公衆參觀，敬請期待！ 

The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong and Gallery EXIT jointly present “In Search of Absence”, a group exhibition features recent works of three Korean artists. The diverse bodies of works establish a connection with the viewers through colors and lines, while gazing at the artists’ internal state of mind. Exhibition will be opened from 18 August to 18 September, stay tuned!

Korean Food Cooking Contest | Korea through Your Plate

駐香港韓國文化院正為2021 韓食創意烹飪比賽招募對韓食和烹飪有興趣的參賽者。比賽旨在鼓勵對韓食烹飪有興趣的人士發揮創意，進一步提升他們對韓國料理烹調的認識及水平，並推動韓國飲食文化。 

We are now holding the 2021 Korean Food Cooking Contest, Korea through Your Plate, and welcome all of you to join. It aims at encouraging creative cook who are interested in Korean food to enhance their knowledge about Korean food cooking, and to further promote Korean food culture.

Hangeul Design Competition

爲慶祝第575週年的韓文節，駐香港韓國文化院與 Yang Won Sun Foundation 合作舉辦韓文設計比賽。我們將透過是次設計比賽募集創意圖像設計，宣傳韓文的優秀性，並提高市民對韓國文字的興趣。

2021 Open Call for Artists

We are now accepting proposals for the upcoming 2022 exhibition season, one in Art Basel Hong Kong 2022 season and the other in summer season. It aims to support potential Korean artists and curators to find a larger market abroad.

2021 首爾國際女性電影節 

2021 Seoul International Women's Film Festival

第23屆SIWFF（首爾國際女性電影節）將於8月26日開幕。在「關懷反思」的口號下，電影節期間將放映來自27個國家的119部電影。 其中在「發現」的中，大會將放映 12 部有關韓國「#After MeToo」運動的電影，其中更將展示來自韓國和國外女導演的首部或第二部影片。此外，更會有回顧韓國人氣女藝員裴斗娜的環節作為附帶活動。 

The 23rd edition of SIWFF(Seoul International Women's Film Festival) will open on 26 Aug. Under the slogan "A Caring Reflection," 119 films from 27 countries will be screened during the festival. You can find 12 films showing "#AfterMeToo" movement from the "Discovery" section, which will showcase the first or second films of female directors from Korea and abroad. There will be a retrospective section of Bae Doo-na as a side event.

Brave Girls appointed honorary ambassador of Korea Tourism Organization

韓國旅遊發展局11日宣布，日前任命人氣組合Brave Girls為韓國旅游海外宣傳大使，將向海外宣傳韓國旅遊及文化，並在發展韓國旅遊產業、娛樂產業發展、歌星進軍海外市場方面互相提供幫助，共用相關資訊，併發揮乘數效應。Brave Girls更拍攝了共5支的宣傳影片以吸引更多海外旅客對韓國的關心。 

Girl group Brave Girls has been appointed as honorary ambassador of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO). As honorary cultural ambassadors, the band members have made five new promotional videos to attract tourists with an interest in Hallyu.

海港城・美術館呈獻《Quokka in Town!》 

Gallery by the Harbour presents Quokka in Town!

今個夏日，海港城・美術館舉辦展覽《Quokka in Town!》，迎來韓國插畫家Kim Tae- eun的知名創意品牌「Dinotaeng」旗下的可愛角色──短尾矮袋鼠Quokka、橡皮糖熊 貓Bobo和棉花糖Marsh。Dinotaeng人氣高企，Instagram粉絲人數逾26萬。Quokka被譽為 「世上最開心的動物」，招牌笑容總能感染身邊的人。《Quokka in Town!》是 Dinotaeng首個海外展覽，展出插畫角色漫遊香港的趣事。展場被佈置成客機，觀眾與 Quokka及其好友搭乘客機，滿心期待，抵埗香港。他們手執最愛的棉花糖串燒，浩浩 蕩蕩地遊走於鬧市之中，盡情探索這座多姿多彩的城市。現場更有過百款主題精品出 售，數量有限，不容錯過！展覽至8月29日結束。 

This Summer, until 29 August, Gallery by the Harbour welcomes Quokka, Bobo the gummy bear, and Marsh the marshmallow, adorable characters from the popular Korean creative brand Dinotaeng by illustrator Kim Tae-eun, with over 260K followers on Instagram. Hailed as “the world’s happiest animal”, Quokka charms everyone with his signature optimism. “Quokka in Town!” is Dinotaeng’s first exhibition overseas, featuring the characters’ adventures around Hong Kong. The exhibition is set in a departing plane that invites the audience to go on the journey with the characters, sharing their thrill to explore one of the most exciting cities in the world. Over 100 thematic merchandise are available on-site in limited quantities. Don’t miss out!

DNA：韓國美術，傳統與現代 DNA: Dynamic & Alive Korean Art @ MMCA Deoksugung

韓國國立現代美術館盡心籌備了這場將韓國的文化遺產和現代美術作品匯聚一堂，開啓欣賞韓國之美新視角的展覽。本次展覽選出了10件韓國代表性的文化遺產，並通過“聖”、“雅”、“俗”、“和”四個關鍵詞探討傳統對近代美術的產生的影響和意義。在這次展覽中，參展作品穿越時空，在此相會，在作品與作品之間的關係中，也體現了傳統與現代美術之間的關係，而這也將為人們尋找已被討論無數次的“韓國之美是什麽”這一問題的答案提供綫索。展覽於國立現代美術館(德壽宮館)舉行至2021年10月10日。 

This exhibition aims to see the whole view of Korean beauty of the past and the present alive in the contemporary world, comparing Korean cultural heritages with modern and contemporary arts. It explores the relationship between traditional arts and modern/contemporary arts based on the four concepts: 聖(sacred and sublime), 雅(elegant and simple), 俗(decorative and worldly) and 和(dynamic and hybrid). Come and see the timeless beauty of art that transcends space and time at the exhibition held at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art at Deoksugung until October 10.
