[K-Film] Korean Independent Film Showcase
Korean films and actors have been shinning in different film festivals. Korean film is undoubtedly becoming more recognized nowadays. At the same time, independent films also fight for their recognition in the category of Korean film. Independent films are different from major films because directors' thoughts are reflected by filming techniques and producers’ perspectives are also displayed more explicitly on the screen.
Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong presents the Korean Independent Film Showcase again this year. 4 different independent films, A Midsummer's Fantasia(2015), A Quiet Dream(2016), The King of Jokgu(2014), Move the Grave(2020) will be shown.
Hope you can watch Korean independent films, understand the difference from Korean mainstream films, and enjoy the charm of Korean independent films.
