[개막식] Echoes in Between: Four Voices in Korean Abstraction (2026.2.4. 6-8 pm) 전시 개막식 - 날짜: 2026년 2월 4일 (수) 오후 6시 – 8시 - 장소: 홍콩한국문화원 (PMQ B블록 6-7층, 애버딘 스트리트 35번지, 센트럴) 주홍콩한국문화원은 솔루나 파인아트와 협력하여 2026년 2월 4일(수) 오후 6시 개막식을 개최합니다.  이번 전시 《Echoes in Between: Four Voices in Korean Abstraction》은 한국 현대 추상미술을 탐구하는 네 명의 작가—하태임, 장승택, 김영헌, 박윤경—의 작업을 통해 다양한 시각 언어를 선보입니다. 각 작가는 색채, 층위, 제스처, 공간에 대한 개별적 접근을 보여주지만, 동시에 물질과 비물질, 존재와 부재 사이의 미묘한 간극에서 의미가 어떻게 생성되는지를 공동으로 탐구합니다.  이를 통해 한국 추상미술의 다층적이고 섬세한 세계를 홍콩 관람객들에게 소개하고자 합니다. 주홍콩한국문화원은 2025년 12월 10일부터 2026년 1월 31일까지 문화원 전시실에서 한국 현대미술 기획전 《 Unfolding Silence (2025 한국작가전)》를 개최한다. 이번 전시는 화이트스톤, 갤러리 엑시트, 솔루나, 스트롤 갤러리 등 홍콩에서 한국 작가의 작품을 소개하는 대표적인 갤러리와 함께 기획되었으며, 한국 추상미술 작가 권순익, 배상순, 우종택, 정윤경, 김덕한, 이채 등 총 6인의 작품을 선보인다. 이번 전시는 홍콩 주재 갤러리에서 활발히 활동하는 한국 작가들을 문화원 공간으로 초청하여, 한국 현대 추상미술의 깊이와 다양성을 홍콩 관람객들에게 소개하고자 한다. 관람객들은 전시 작품을 통해 내적 사유와 감각적 경험을 시각화하는 ‘침묵의 확장(Unfolding Silence)’을 경험한다. 권순익은 흙과 물감을 반복적으로 쌓아 올리고 흑연으로 틈을 메우는 독창적인 기법을 통해 치유와 기억의 서사를 담아내며, 인내와 시간의 축적 속에서 작품을 완성한다. 배상순은 검은 벨벳 위에 물감을 겹겹이 올려 생명력과 사고의 흐름을 탐구하는 「Morphing Void」 시리즈를 선보이며, 혼돈과 창조 사이의 긴장을 표현한다. 우종택은 먹과 목탄, 백토 등을 활용한 강렬한 제스처로 자연과 우주의 본질을 묻는 명상적 회화를 제작한다. 정윤경은 동아시아 수묵 전통과 서구 추상 표현주의를 결합해 여백과 구조가 어우러진 독창적 화면을 구현한다. 김덕한은 나무 패널과 금속 위에 옻칠 물감을 겹겹이 쌓아 기억과 감정을 담은 색채를 만들어낸다. 이채는 꽃과 나무의 피고 지는 자연의 순환을 상징적·추상적으로 표현해 생명의 지속과 깨달음을 탐구한다. 12월 10일 전시 개막식에는 작가와 갤러리 관계자들이 참석해 관람객들과 교류할 수 있는 자리가 마련되었다.

주홍콩한국문화원은 2025년 10월 2일(목)부터 11월 22일(토)까지, 서울시립미술관과 공동으로 《키치 앤 팝: 한국적 팝아트의 현재》 전시를 개최한다. 본 전시는 문화체육관광부와 한국국제문화교류진흥원(KOFICE)의 2025년 투어링 케이-아츠 사업의 후원으로 상하이에서 홍콩으로 이어지는 순회전으로 마련되었다. 《키치 앤 팝: 한국적 팝아트의 현재》는 K-팝 및 K-컬처의 세계적 확산 속에서 상대적으로 저평가되어 온 ‘한국적 팝아트(Korean Pop Art)’를 동시대 미술의 맥락에서 재조명하고자 한다. 음악, 패션, 영화, 식문화 등 다양한 분야에서 글로벌하게 확장된 K-컬처의 흐름 속에서, 시각예술 기반의 문화적 확산을 시도하는 전시다. 이번 전시에서는 서울시립미술관 소장품과 함께, 2010년 이후 포스트 인터넷 시대의 젊은 작가들(돈선필, 추미림, 노상호, 심래정, 류성실, 우정수)의 신작과 2000년대 초중반 한국적 팝아트의 흐름을 보여주는 작가들(홍경택, 손동현, 박미나, 김신혜)의 작업을 함께 소개한다. 전시는 ‘개별화된 팝’과 ‘쿨-키치’라는 두 가지 키워드를 중심으로 구성된다. ‘개별화된 팝’은 2000년대 대량소비사회와 글로벌리즘, 포스트모더니즘의 영향 아래 형성된 한국적 팝아트의 맥락을 설명하며, ‘쿨-키치’는 인터넷, 모바일, SNS, A.I 등 기술의 발달 속에서 젊은 작가들이 보여주는 독창적인 감각을 탐구한다. 10월 2일 오후 6시부터 8시까지는 전시 개막 리셉션이 진행되었으며, 7시 개막행사에는 서울시립미술관 이보배 학예사 및 추미림 전시 참여 작가가 전시 투어를 하는 시간을 가졌다. 개막식에는 약 40여명의 미술인 및 일반 관람객들이 참석하여 전시를 관람하고 전시에 대한 이야기를 나누었다.

▲ 포스터 주홍콩한국문화원은 2025년 8월 7일부터 9월 20일까지, 2025년 공모당선전 《앨리스∙ 거북, 문 너머의 토끼들》을 개최한다. 이번 전시는 현대미술 작가 단체 ‘버건디(Burgundy)’ 소속 이주영, 김명종, 김정우, 정우진 작가가 참여하며, 정체성과 변화라는 핵심 개념을 ‘문’이라는 상징을 중심으로 다각적으로 탐구한다. 전시 제목 ‘앨리스’, ‘거북’, ‘문 너머의 토끼들’은 이상한 나라의 앨리스와 별주부전에 등장하는 토끼에서 차용된 상징적 존재로, 각기 다른 세계로 진입하는 문을 은유한다. 홍콩의 역사적, 문화적 교차로로서의 상징성에 주목, 관람객이 낯선 세계로 들어가는 ‘문’을 여는 예술적 체험의 장으로서 기획되었다. ▲ 이주영 작가 작품 전시 전경 ▲ 이주영 작가 작품(Overlapping poetry (2025)) 전시 전경 참여 작가 이주영은 언어의 감각적 지연과 반복을 통해 정체성과 소통의 경계를 재사유한다. 영상 작업 《머뭇(Wading Through)》(2025)과 먹지 드로잉 연작 《murmur》(2025)는 불완전한 언어의 속성을 시각화하며 관람객에게 언어의 해방적 가능성을 제시한다. ▲김명종 작가 ▲김명종 작가 김명종은 혼합 매체를 활용해 현대 사회의 모순과 비정상성을 조명하며, 창작자란 무엇인가에 대한 질문을 던진다. 이번 전시의 신작 《몽영극장: 산수정신당》(2025)과 각기 유교, 불교, 도교를 상징하는 상징하는 세계의 글자가 적힌 네온사인 《유불도 식당》(2025) 시리즈는, 우리가 마주한 순간의 이상향 그 이후에 대한 작가의 시선이 돋보이는 작품이다. ▲김정우 작가 ▲김정우 작가 김정우는 회화와 물질성에 대한 탐색을 통해 이미지와 실체 사이의 긴장을 시각화한다. 이번 전시에서 작가는《0》(2025)과 《Fragmented》(2025)를 통해 회화의 구성 요소들을 확장하거나 분절함으로써 관람자가 작품과 직접 접촉하고 감각적으로 몰입할 수 있는 체험의 장으로 구성하였다. ▲정우진 작가 ▲작품을 감상하는 관람객들 정우진은 인간의 존재가 환경과 상호작용하며 끊임없이 변화하는 유기체임을 전제로, “정체성”과 “변화”의 과정을 섬세하게 시각화한다. 다양한 재료와 매체를 통해 외부 환경이 인간의 내면에 어떤 흔적과 감정의 진동을 남기는지를 다층적으로 담아낸다. ▲작품을 감상하는 관람객들 ▲작품을 감상하는 관람객들 8월 7일 오후 6시부터 8시까지는 전시 개막 리셉션이 진행되었으며, 7시에는 전시 설치 및 개막식에 참석한 김명종, 정우진, 김정우 작가의 전시 및 작품을 소개하는 시간을 가졌다. 개막식에는 약 40여명의 미술인 및 일반 관람객들이 참석하여 전시를 관람하고 전시에 대한 이야기를 나누었다. 문화원 전시 공모 프로젝트는 잠재력 있는 한국 작가와 기획자를 홍콩에 소개하기 위해 마련되었다. 전시 공모는 문화원의 연례 프로젝트인 '한국 젊은 작가전'과 더불어 국제시장에 진출 가능한 유망 작가들을 발굴하고 홍콩 아트신(Art Scene)에 소개를 위해 문화원의 주력 사업 중 하나로 이어갈 예정이다. 매년 7월에서 9월 사이에 공모접수를 받는다.

주홍콩한국문화원 2026 작가, 기획자 모집 공고 주홍콩한국문화원에서는 2026년 문화원에서 전시할 작가 및 기획자를 모집합니다. 전시 공모 프로젝트는 문화원의 연례 프로젝트인 ‘한국 젊은 작가전(Korean Young Artists Series)’과 더불어 잠재력 있는 한국 작가와 기획자를 홍콩에 소개하는 플랫폼을 마련하기 위한 시도입니다. 2026년 1~2회의 공모전시가 진행 예정입니다. 공모에는 a)개별 작가, b)작가 그룹, c)독립 기획자 모두 지원 가능합니다. 전시는 그룹전으로 진행될 예정이며 ①기획자가 선정된 경우 선발된 기획안에 따른 단독 전시, ②개별 작가 혹은 작가 단체가 선정된 경우 문화원이 단체전으로 기획합니다. 응모 서류는 현지와 한국 미술계에 전문성을 가진 홍콩∙한국 심사위원들의 공정한 심사를 거쳐 최종 선발할 예정입니다. 공모 결과는 11월 중으로 개별 통지될 예정입니다. 해외에서 전시를 하고 싶은 작가 및 기획자분들의 많은 지원 부탁드립니다.   ■ 전시 개요 1. 추진 목적 - 한국-홍콩 간의 문화 교류를 도모하는 전시 기획 - 우수한 한국 예술 작품을 홍콩에 소개   2. 전시 기간  2026년 중 약 2개월 전시 ※ 전시 날짜는 추후 조율 예정   3. 전시 장소 주홍콩한국문화원 전시실 (6-7/F, Block B, PMQ, 35 Aberdeen Street, Central)   ■ 지원 형태 1. 지원 자격 a) 작가 개인 - 한국 국적 - 3회 이상의 전시 경력   b) 작가 단체 - 구성 작가의 50% 이상이 한국 국적이어야 함 - 3회 이상의 전시 경력 - 우수한 한국 예술을 선보이는 전시, 혹은 한국과 홍콩 간의 문화 교류를 도모하는 작품 구상   c) 기획자 - 3인 이상의 작가로 구성된 기획안 제출. 전시를 구성하는 작가의 50% 이상은 한국 국적이어야 함 - 3회 이상의 전시 기획 경력 - 우수한 한국 예술을 선보이는 전시, 혹은 한국과 홍콩 간의 문화 교류를 도모하는 전시 기획    2. 출품 작품의 종류 회화, 조각, 설치, 뉴미디어 등 출품 작품의 종류에 제한은 없으나, 문화원에서 지원하는 해외 운송비의 제한에 따라 부피가 크고 무거운 작품의 출품은 별도 협의 필요. 미디어 작품의 경우, 기본 문화원 장비 모니터를 제외한 장비 및 테크니션을 제공해주지 않음   ■ 제출 서류 (동일 내용 한글과 영문 두 가지 버전 필요) 온라인 접수: opencall@kcchk.kr - 공모 지원서 (양식 파일 첨부) - 작가/기획자 포트폴리오 (PDF 파일, 20 페이지 이내, 10MB 이내) - 출품 작품 이미지 (JPEG 파일, 2MB 이하), 미디어 아트일 경우 비디오 링크(최대 5MB) - 전시 기획서 (기획자 지원의 경우만)   ■ 문화원 지원 범위 - 주홍콩한국문화원 전시실 제공 (전시실 정보 PPT 파일 첨부) - 개별 작가 선정 시 단체전 기획 - 보도자료 배포 등 전시 홍보 - 홍콩 PMQ 레지던시 3박 숙박비 (문화원 상주 복합문화건물) - 작품 왕복 운송비 (약 1300만원 선) - 리플렛, 포스터 등 전시물 홍보 제작비 ※ 작품 운송비와 홍보 제작비는 예산 사정을 고려하여 문화원과 협의 하에 결정 - 전시 개막식 ※ 개막 행사에 기획자는 필수 참가, 작가는 50% 이상 참석해야 함 (예: 작가 3인 중 2인 이상 참석 요망) ※ 개막 행사는 문화원 상황에 따라 변동될 수 있음   ■ 선정 작가/기획자 의무 사항 - 리플렛 및 홍보물 제작 (기획자 및 작가그룹에 한함) - 전시 설치 및 개막식 참석   ■ 선정 절차 현지와 한국 미술계에 대한 이해가 높은 현직 미술 관계자들로 구성된 외부 심사위원들이 전시할 작가군 선발 혹은 기획안 선정. 공모 결과는 11월 개별 통지 예정.   공모기간: 2025년 9월 30일 23:59 (HKT) 문의: opencall@kcchk.kr 세부사항: hk.korean-culture.org/hk/1071/board/682/read/138643
