    KCCHK's "Taste of Korean Food" workshop previously took you to the southern region of Korea, and this time we're heading to the eastern region, Gangwon Province!   Gangwon Province is blessed with excellent climate and soil conditions, producing high-quality agricultural products such as buckwheat, corn, potatoes, and soybeans. Many local dishes are made with these ingredients. This time, we will introduce two specialties from Gangwon Province: Potato Pancake and Buckwheat Noodles—simple yet flavorful.   Want to experience the flavors of Gangwon-do?     KCC’s "The Taste of Korean Food" workshop is taking you to the southern part of Korea—Jeollanam-do(South Jeolla Province) this time!   Jeollanam-do is known for its abundant food supply and diverse food culture. Dishes like Ganjang Gejang (Soy Sauce Marinated Crab), Dakdoritang (Spicy Chicken Stew), and seafood hot pot. In May, KCC will introduce you to Blood Cockles Bibimbap from Yeosu and Grilled Beef Patties from Damyang, giving you the chance to try two representative dishes from Jeollanam-do! Special thanks to Elaia Holdings Hong Kong (@elaia_hk) for providing the blood cockle sets as the ingredient of the workshop!   Never been to Jeollanam-do but want to try the local cuisine?     ‘K-Food MasterChef in Hong Kong 2025’K-Food cooking contest is back again this year!   Do you remember the theme of the contest last year? Yes, it’s 'Jang(Korean Paste)'!   Last year's contestants showcased their superb creativity by creating unexpected, amazing dishes using Jang! So this year, KCC decided to continue the theme, while adding a bit of difficulty to the contest by designating 'Jang' and 'Hanwoo(Korean Beef)' as the main ingredients!   We are honored to have Hanwoo Association collaborating with us this year. All the Hanwoo that will be used by the finalists are sponsored by the association. Additionally, each finalist, regardless of their ranking, will receive a set of Hanwoo as a souvenir provided by the Hanwoo Association!   The prize for the champion is also different from last year!
