Exhibition ‘SWITCH THINGS UP’@ MMCA Gwacheon
在《遊戲的事物》展覽中,8位藝術家及收藏家利用敏銳的技藝將各種材料的獨特物理特性結合,創造出和諧的物體語言。從處理原料到將作品昇華至創造性的「遊戲」,制作者的身份既是「工藝家」亦是「遊戲人」。展覽讓觀衆體驗人生不同層面,作品能帶來視覺享受及引起回響。
The eight artists and collectives in ‘SWITCH THINGS UP’ combine their sharpened expertise and the unique physical properties of various material to create a harmonious language of objects. In that sense, they are ‘makers’ or the ‘playing human(homo ludens)’. ‘SWITCH THINGS UP’ presents a garden of play where the viewers have the opportunity to experiment with the
different aspects of life, traverse across constructive boundaries, and form new relationships.

Korea's auction houses gear up for major modern art sales
韓國國內主要拍賣公司正在爲上半年的最後一場大型拍賣做準備。首爾拍賣於6月22日舉行的第161次拍賣會,將成爲自2008年全球金融危機以來國內最大規模的拍賣會,共204件作品預計總值230億韓元。K Auction亦在第二天舉行拍賣,共154件作品價值約135億韓元。
Korea's key auction houses are gearing up for the last major art sales of the first half of the year, next week. Seoul Auction's 161st sale, slated for June 22, made headlines earlier as the biggest single auction in Korea to be held since the 2008 global financial crisis. It will showcase 204 pieces with an estimated total value of 23 billion won ($20.3
million), followed by K Auction's sale the next day, with 154 works valued at some total 13.5 billion won ($11.9 million).
